Partha Sarathy Konakanchi, an alumnus of BITS-Pilani and IISc-Bangalore, is devoted to spreading the timeless wisdom of Sanatana Dharma in Sweden. Rooted in a family tradition of Vedic learning and priesthood, he harmoniously blends spiritual heritage with his professional career as a Product Manager working for a multinational company in Stockholm. He is deeply passionate about guiding adults and children through Vedic rituals, dharmic values, cultural learning, and selfless community service.

Vice Chairman
Netaji Konanki gracefully balances a pragmatic IT career with a profound dedication to spiritual evolution. A discerning seeker, he strives to integrate Sanatan Dharma into his daily existence. Anchored in non-dualism, he lives by the truth of Aham Brahmasmi—the profound realization that the self and the cosmos are one. He believes that the ultimate creator and the ultimate preserver are but two aspects of the exact same divine essence.

General Secretary
Sheetal Abhijeet Ghag is a Computer Engineer with roots in the Hindi and Marathi cultural traditions. While pursuing career goals and material aspirations, her journey evolved into a deeper exploration of spirituality and self-discovery. This path inspires her to cultivate greater awareness, compassion, humility, and a spirit of service while balancing the demands of modern life. Serving the temple is both a privilege and a sacred responsibility, allowing her to contribute to the preservation and sharing of India’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage for future generations.

Social Media & Communications lead
Abhishek Dhar, an alumnus of IIEST Shibpur and IIT Delhi, holds a Ph.D. and draws inspiration from Lord Shiva in his spiritual journey. Guided by Advaita philosophy, he seeks to share the wisdom of Sanatana Dharma through a scientific and rational lens. Working as a Senior Engineer in Sweden, he remains engaged in research collaborations and is passionate about connecting scriptural insights with inquiry, devotion, and contemporary understanding while supporting temple outreach initiatives.

The Vision Ignites
The vision of Sweden Shiva Temple (SST) began through the spiritual services offered by Partha Sarathy Konakanchi, the current Chairman, under the Sweden Poojari initiative. As he connected with devotees across Sweden through poojas and religious activities, he felt inspired to give back to society in a more enduring way. This led to the idea of establishing a Shiva Temple as a spiritual and cultural center for future generations. Sharing this vision with like-minded devotees sparked widespread interest and support, laying the foundation for what is today Sweden Shiva Temple (SST)

Prana Prathistha & Community Growth
After exploring various possibilities and overcoming many challenges, Partha & his wife Sailaja decided to renovate their garage into a sacred space dedicated to Lord Shiva, where devotees could gather for worship and Vedic rituals. This humble beginning became the first physical home of the vision. As activities grew, he brought together like-minded devotees to discuss the future, shaping plans for expansion and the long-term growth of the temple and its mission
2025
A New chapter
As temple activities steadily grew, a group of dedicated and like-minded devotees came together to establish a non-profit religious organization in Sweden. With official approval, Sweden Shiva Temple (SST) formally began its journey under a governing board on June 1, 2026. Today, the Board is actively shaping the temple’s future vision and growth plans, guided by devotion, service, and the blessings of Lord Shiva. The community looks forward with excitement and faith, eager to witness the divine path that unfolds ahead
